1/4 kilo tomatoes 1 1/2 cup rice 5 red chilli A pinch hing -chitikedu tamrind of the size of lemon
Process:
soak the rice for 2 to 3 hrs n then grind it with all the other ingredients .add salt for tasteyou can prepare dosas immediately after grinding

Ingredients:
1 big cup - poha (atukulu)1 medium - onion1/4 tsp - black avalu1/4 " - jeera1/4 " - minapappu3 to 4 - green chillis1/2 - lemon1/4 tsp - haldi(Turmeric powder)1/4 tsp - sugarkarivepaaku (curry leaves)Dhaniya patta (kotthimeera)
Process:
1. clean the poha in to the water 2,3times. and remove the water. and dry(10min before start this receipe) 2. cut the onion in small peaces and also green chillis3. heat the tavva and put 2 tsp oil, and add avalu, jeera,minappappu, green chillis,kukarivepaku and fry 1min.4. and onion till fry brown.5. add poha, haldi,sugar,salt mix and fry 5min6. kotthimeerafry 1min and add lemon 7. take a 1 plate and put the upma and put Haldirams Bhujiya Sav and serve

This is a dish made with chana dal and goes well with rice. It can be eaten as snack also.
Ingredients:
1 cup - Chana Dal1 - aratikaya2-3 - redchillies1/2 cup - curryleaves2-3 - Oil for fryingsalt as per taste
Process:
Wash and soak chana dal for 1 hour, cut aratikaya into small peices.Grind chana dal and redchillies coarsely.Heat oil in a kadhai fry aratikaya peices. Then add the ground paste and add curry leaves. Keep it medium flame and fry till the paste turns slight brown. Add oil if requiredserve with rice and menthi majjiga,can be eaten as snack also.

Aloo Methi

Delicious and easy to make Aloo curry ; Great either with rice or chapathi.
Ingredients:
1 bunch methi leaves1 medium potato2-3 green chillies1 tbspoon oil2 cloves of garliccurry leavesjeera 1 tspmustard seeds 1tspsalt to taste
Process:
Finely chop the methi leaves.cut potatoes into small cubes.chop the garlic cloves.Slit the green chillies.Heat a fry pan and put the oil in. Add mustard, jeera, curry leaves, green chillies and the garlic pieces. fry for 1 min and then add the chopped methi.mean while semi-cook the potato pieces in the microwave (in a bowl put potato pieces and put water to just cover the pieces) for 3 mins and watchout not to over cook.keep stirring the methi leaves to evenly fry and cook it until the bitterness is gone.Now add the potatoes and some salt cover it and cook until potatoes are done.serve hot with rice, chaapthi, or palin parathas.

Methi Patholi

Can be a special curry for special days (as prepared in Nellore Region)
Ingredients:
Red Gram (Toor Dal or Kandi Pappu) - 100 GmBengal Gram (Chana Dal or Sanaga Pappu) - 100 GmRed Chillis - 4 (mild) or 5 (spicy)Methi Leaves (Menthi Koora) - 1 small bundle Dessicated Coconut - 50 GmAsafoetida (inguva) - a pinchJeera - 1/2 tea spoonFor Seasoning:Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tea SpoonJeera - 1/2 Tea SpoonBlack Gram Dal (Minapa pappu) - 1 Tea Spoon
Process:
1. Soak both the Red and Bengal Gram in Water for 60 min2. Clean & Wash Methi leaves (separated from Stem)3. Drain off water from Soaked Grams 4. Grind soaked grams with Coconut, Red Chillis, Asafoetida, Jeera and Salt till it is coarsely ground (should look like Rava)5. Heat oil in Pan and add the seasoning6. After seasoning splutters, add the ground paste and Methi leaves7. Fry the contents in low flame till it becomes powdery (without water)8. Add some more oil while frying to avoid excessive roasting (turning black).Value Addition:Gravy dishes (Pachi Pulusu in Andhra) can be taken along with the Methi Patholi, for different taste.

Ingredients:
12 Brinjal 1 Onion 4 Chillies 3 Lavangalu 2 Dalchina chekka 2 Elachi 1 marati Mogga 1/2 cup Tomato Puree 1/2 sp Turmeric Powder 2 tbsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Garlic/Ginger paste 2 tbsp Til seeds 2 tbsp Coconut 1 tsp Dhaniya Powder 1/4 cupTamrind Juice Salt To tasteOil accordingly
Process:
1. Cut Brinjals like flower and micorwave it for 6 to 7 min (Or) Add grinded masala into the cut brinjals and fry it in oil..2 Grind all Masala.. 3. In pan put oil fry Onion,Chillies until onion turns to Golden Brown color. Add masala and fry it for 5 min, Add Tomato puree ,Tamarind Juice to the content.4. Then add microwaved brinjals to the content and fry it 5 min and then pour 2 cups water and boil it for 10 min in sim until oil comes on top .5. Add coriander leaves to the curry and enjoy mouth watering Nune vankaya with hot rice with Sambar combination.

Nimma Pappu (lemon Dal)

Ingredients:
11/4 cup moong dal (pesar pappu, split green gram) 250* 3 tablespoons lemon juice 45.6* 2 medium green chilis * 1 medium onions * 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds (mustard seeds, aavalu) 2* 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (cumin, jeera) 1.05* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 33* 1/4 teaspoon turmeric (haldi powder) 1* to taste salt 1.000* fistful coriander leaves (dhaniya)
Process:
Wash dal thoroughly and in 2.5 cups water cook it until it becomes soft. To this add chopped green chili, tumeric and salt. Cook for five minutes on medium. Remove from heat and beat with an egg beater for two minutes (until the dal becomes like a paste). Add 1/4 cup of water and set aside.In a small skillet heat oil. Add cumin and mustard. When mustard seeds start popping, add finely chopped onion and stir until onion is translucent or light brown. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves. Fry for two minutes. Add lemon juice and remove from heat immediately. Add dal and mix thoroughly.Additional Info:Instead of lemon juice, finely grated raw mango (about 4 tbsp.) may also be used.
